ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Calgary Korean Scholarship Foundation reserves this one for high school students, judged on talent in music, art or sport rather than on marks.
The geography is set by where your parent lives, not your school: anywhere south of and including Airdrie qualifies, which the foundation spells out as reaching Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, while families north of Airdrie are refused. Children of work permit holders may apply. The application instructions on the same page still carry dates from an older cycle, so confirm the July close by email before relying on it.
