Worth knowing

There are two forms, one for students entering a four-year undergraduate degree and one for students entering a one-year certificate or two-year diploma at a college, fine arts, trades or technical school. Email the completed form to the Local #17 vice president at local17vp@gmail.com by May 15, with your final Grade 12 marks and a course mark inquiry or official transcript that shows diploma exam marks. You must be attending post-secondary in September of your graduating year, and you will need a tuition receipt or student ID card before the money is paid. Acceptance letters do not count as proof and faxed or incomplete applications are not accepted.

About this scholarship

The Chinook's Edge local of the Alberta Teachers' Association offers scholarships to graduating students from any division high school, one stream for degree programs and one for college, fine arts and trades.
