This one is offered at both Parkland high schools, and each collects it its own way. The date here is Spruce Grove Composite's awards package deadline, and Memorial Composite collects in the spring of Semester 2, so ask your own Student Services.
About this scholarship
The Canadian Parents for French Parkland Chapter funds this at both Spruce Grove Composite and Memorial Composite for a student who has had no past French Immersion and has completed a 30 level French course. The criteria say that academic marks are not a criterion. What it wants instead is outstanding leadership in promoting French language learning, both personally and in the community, which makes it winnable by a student whose French mark is ordinary but who ran the club.
