Worth knowing

You must be an immigrant or the child of immigrants, live and study in Edmonton, and be in the first or second year of a health-related diploma or degree. Part-time study counts if the program lasts at least four months. In 2025 two students received $1,000 each.

About this scholarship

The Edmonton Newcomer Centre gives an annual award to young immigrants starting health careers, in memory of founding nurse Anne Falk.
