2000 Alberta Summer Games Legacy Fund

The endowment left from Grande Prairie hosting the 2000 Alberta Summer Games, still paying out student awards a quarter century later.

It is the oldest legacy fund on the roster and the clearest illustration of why the universal application is worth the hour: nobody would think to search for a 26-year-old games surplus. One universal application covers every fund the foundation holds, so there is nothing separate to file for this one. The foundation publishes the roster of fund names but keeps each fund's value and criteria inside the portal, which tells you what you qualify for once you submit.
