About this program

Calgary's youth council, running since 1992: members meet weekly in subcommittees on civic engagement, careers, health and current issues, hear from guest speakers, meet city officials and plan youth-led events. The 2025–26 council drew from 16 schools across 11 wards. Applications open each fall.
