Worth knowing

The Canadian Rockies Regional is back in Calgary for 2027: March 31 to April 3 at the STEM Innovation Academy on Research Road NW. FIRST lists room for 22 teams, so an Alberta team that wants a home event should register early.

About this program

Rigorous engineering challenge where high school teams design, program, and build industrial-size robots in a 6-week build season. Requires applied research in mechanics, CAD, and control systems. Many Alberta teams compete in the Canadian Rockies regional event.
